According to news reports, there were no other vehicles involved in the accident that killed one person very early Thursday morning.
November 8, 2018 – 2:00 am: One unidentified person is dead as a result of a single-vehicle crash involving a produce truck in Blanco County, Texas.
The accident took place on U.S. 290, near the intersection at McCall Creek Road. The accident was about three miles east of the intersection with U.S. 281.
According to officers from the Texas Department of Public Safety, one person was killed in the truck accident. There were others in the vehicle at the time the accident happened, although it’s uncertain how many people were in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
The cause of the accident is unknown at this time. All that is known is that the truck went off the highway and crashed. The reasons for the driver’s apparent loss of control are under investigation at this time.
As of 4:00 A.M. on November 8, all traffic was being diverted onto alternate routes around the site of the crash. An investigation into the accident is still ongoing, and the name of the individual killed in the crash has not yet been released.
