Man Faces Charges After Fatal Accident

According to news reports, one of the drivers in a three-car crash faces charges for failure to stop and render aid after fleeing the crash.

October 4, 2018 – 6:30 pm: One man has been arrested after a three-car collision in northeast Houston that killed one vehicle’s passenger on Thursday night.

The accident took place at the intersection of Mesa Driver and Sterlingshire Street, according to reports from the Houston Police Department.

A red Toyota headed southbound on Mesa was making a left turn onto Sterlingshire at the time of the accident. It failed to yield the right of way and was hit by a pickup truck, which had the right of way. A third car behind the Toyota was involved in the crash as well.

A man who was a passenger in the Toyota was found dead at the intersection, although the driver of the Toyota fled the scene.

The name of the man killed in the accident has not been made public at this time. The names of the other individuals in the crash have also not been made available to the public.

The Toyota’s driver faces charges for failure to stop and render aid.
