Three Lubbock Men Injured in Rollover Crash

According to news reports, the crash happened early Friday morning, causing non-life-threatening injuries to the three men in the vehicle.

November 9, 2018 – 5:30 am: Three men were injured and hospitalized after a single-vehicle rollover accident in Lubbock early Friday morning.

The accident took place at 320 N. Loop 289 in Lubbock, near Pharr RVs.

According to officers of the Lubbock Police Department, the pickup the three men were in was headed westbound on Loop 289 when the accident happened. For unknown reasons, the driver lost control, leading the pickup to flip.

The vehicle rolled over, coming to a rest in the median separating the main lanes of Loop 289 from the access roads.

Westbound lanes of the North Loop were shut down between North Ash Avenue and I-27 for several hours after the crash. Traffic along the North Loop was rerouted to exit on Ash.

The three men injured in the crash were hospitalized with injuries that are described as non-life-threatening. None of the men has been publicly identified at this time.

The accident is still currently under investigation. The reason for the driver’s loss of control is still unknown at this time.
